Garlic Dipping Sauce For Filipino Lumpia
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (dissolve in small amount of water)
- 3 (or more) cloves garlic chopped
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
Instructions
- Add the cornstarch to the dip mixture. In a small saucepan, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens slightly.
- Mix the ingredients for the garlic dipping sauce (except the cornstarch) and set aside until you are finished making the lumpia.
Notes
I've been looking for the "bbq" sauce that I had once upon a time with this dish. Not sure if this is it, but we will find out!
