Chicken Monterey
Ingredients
- Green onions.
- Shredded cheese.
- 1 cup of a barbecue sauce of your choosing.
- 1 tsp of Lawry’s seasoning salt.
- 4 chicken breasts, pounded to an even thickness.
- 8 slices of chopped bacon.
Instructions
- Top with green onions and Voila!
- Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven to 350° then cook uncovered for 10 additional minutes.
- In a large baking dish, place the chicken and top it with the barbecue sauce, bacon and cheese.
- Season the chicken with the Lawry’s seasoning salt and brown it in the bacon drippings over medium high heat for 4 to 5 minutes on each side.
- Remove the dippings from the skillet leaving 2 tbsps.
- Cook the bacon in a large skillet until crispy and remove it from the pan.
